Job summary
Abode Care Partners in Kinston, NC seeks a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to deliver primary care to seniors and individuals with complex needs in home settings. Qualifications
- Active state Nurse Practitioner license.
- Current Nurse Practitioner National Board Certification.
- Active state DEA licensure.
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN).
- Five or more years of nursing experience; at least two years of NP experience preferred.
- Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong HIPAA/OSHA knowledge.
- Good driving license and insurance.
Responsibilities
- Performs evidence-based medical care by planning, directing, and evaluating patient medical needs.
- ExaminEs and treats chronic and urgent episodic illnesses, minor injuries, accidents, and other illnesses.
- Orders and interprets laboratory and diagnostic testing as needed.
- Collaborates with caregivers and other healthcare professionals to maintain a plan of care.
- Provides referrals to other healthcare practitioners when necessary.
- Keeps patient medical records up to date.
