Job summary

The Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities seeks a full-time Support Administrator (Assessor). Assessors conduct in-person assessments at individuals’ homes or chosen locations, coordinating with care teams to determine funding and services.

Responsibilities include leading person-centered planning, identifying needs, establishing budgets, and managing service authorizations. A BA or MA level in related fields with DD experience is preferred, plus valid driver’s license and SSA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Social Work, Psychology or related field.
• Experience coordinating services and supporting individuals in DD programs.
• Ability to obtain SSA certification within state timelines; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of coordination for the person-centered planning team.
• Complete thorough assessments to determine needs and services.
• Develop and revise person-centered plans and budgets based on assessed needs.
