Riderwood Village in Silver Spring, MD is hiring Home Support/Care Aide for multiple part-time day shifts within our gated retirement community. Roles include personal care, daily living assistance, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and escorting residents to appointments and events.
Compensation ranges from $18.25 to $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Benefits include onsite medical centers, healthcare options, education assistance, 401k, and free onsite parking.

Do what you love—without the travel! Our clients are all within our gated retirement community. As a caregiver, you’ll provide personal care, assist with daily living activities, handle housekeeping and meal preparation, and escort residents to appointments and social events.
We’re looking to fill various part-time DAY SHIFT positions.

Provide personal care and assists with activities of daily living
Support residents by performing routine housekeeping tasks, meal planning and preparation, pet walking and feeding, closet organization, and kitchen chores
Escort residents to appointments and social activities
Promote psychosocial well-being through meaningful relationships
Follow and execute standard Infection Control & Prevention practices
Notify office/nurse in a timely fashion, of any change in a resident’s condition
Maintain competency in the required job skills and knowledge
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) for the State of Maryland as per State and Federal law and regulations
Experience as a care provider serving the senior population is preferred
CPR certification
