Job summary

RS Andrews of Tidewater Heating, Cooling, part of ARS, is hiring Retail Sales Associates to represent ARS inside major home improvement retail locations in Newport News, VA. You’ll engage shoppers on home comfort, energy efficiency, and indoor air quality, and schedule free in-home consultations.

Flexible part-time and full-time schedules, weekend availability, and weekly pay with direct deposit. Paid training provided and opportunities for career growth into Comfort Advisor roles.

Qualifications

• Comfortable approaching and speaking with customers in a retail environment.
• Positive, energetic personality with strong people skills.
• Sales or retail experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods during shifts.

Responsibilities

• As a Retail Sales Associate, introduce homeowners to ARS services while they shop.
• Start friendly conversations about home comfort, energy efficiency, and IAQ.
• Explain how ARS helps with heating, cooling, and home comfort improvements.
• Offer customers the opportunity to schedule a free in-home consultation.
• Enter customer information and book appointments for ARS specialists.
• Represent ARS with a positive, professional presence inside the store.
• Work alongside store management and ARS team members to support in-store promotions.

We're hiring outgoing Retail Sales Associates to represent ARS inside major home improvement retail locations by introducing customers to our home comfort solutions, energy‑saving upgrades, and indoor air quality services.
