Job summary

ADT is seeking a Residential Installation Technician to assess customer needs, design, install, and educate on system operation at the customer's home or business. You will determine optimal equipment, test operations, and ensure reliable signal reception to establish service.

Responsibilities include evaluating information, recommending solutions, upholding safety, keeping the site clean, and collaborating with customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• Must be customer-focused and driven to meet client needs.
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in dynamic environments with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High School diploma or equivalent; electronic trade school training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Determine optimal system and equipment with the customer.
• Install and test equipment to ensure proper function and signal reception.
• Evaluate information and propose best solutions for the location.
• Identify opportunities to improve system usage and provide recommendations.
• Follow safety practices to protect people and property.
• Maintain site cleanliness and safeguard tools and materials.
• Collaborate with customers and team members to deliver service.
• Visit customers at their home or business to provide solutions.
