Job summary

Lincare Holdings in Washington state seeks a Home Care Equipment Technician to perform timely setups of ventilators, monitors, CPAP units, and oxygen equipment in patients' homes. This role includes patient education, recordkeeping, and adherence to safety guidelines.

You will maintain knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques, participate in on-call shifts evenings and weekends, and comply with regulatory requirements. A professional appearance and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Familiar with equipment and services provided in home healthcare.
• Minimum of two years in home healthcare.
• Minimum of three years in home healthcare; may be involved in training.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient education as part of patient care in patients' homes.
• Perform complete patient assessments.
• Maintain knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and related concepts.
• Adhere to Safety & Regulatory Manual, OSHA, DOT, FDA, and Emergency Planning policies.
• Represent Lincare professionally in person and in written reports.
• Facilitate prescription collection and maintain patient records.
• Work on-call evenings and weekends as scheduled.
