Job summary

Lincare seeks a Home Health Equipment Technician to set up ventilators, monitors, CPAP units, and oxygen equipment in patients’ homes. You will provide technical assistance and may contribute to training and equipment setup across categories.

You will perform patient assessments, educate patients, maintain records, and adhere to safety regulations while occasionally working evenings and weekends based on center staffing.

Qualifications

• Must have completed all training/education required to obtain requisite certification/registration/license
• Must remain certified, registered, or licensed by the applicable state and/or national board
• CRTs and RRTs are qualified for this position

Responsibilities

• Provides patient education as part of patient care, often in patients' homes
• Performs complete and professional patient assessments
• Maintains current knowledge of home respiratory care techniques and related concepts
• Follows Safety & Regulatory Manual policies (OSHA, DOT, FDA, Emergency Planning)
• Represents Lincare with professional appearance and written reports
• Facilitates prescription collection
• Maintains patient records per accreditation standards
• On-call evenings and weekends as scheduled; responsiveness required
