Job summary

Quipt Home Medical Inc. in Wichita, KS is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide home-based respiratory care and equipment setup per physician orders. Experience with ventilator management is preferred.

Responsibilities include setting up ventilators/BiPAPs, completing paperwork, educating patients on equipment use, and following up with patients in the home setting. A clean driving record and license are required.

Qualifications

• Active RRT or CRT license required.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be 21 years or older to be covered on company auto insurance and have a valid driver’s license.
• Successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment including non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in hospital and home settings.
• Complete delivery and pickup paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Provide patients with instruction on use, maintenance and safety of equipment.
• Perform follow-up calls with patients after setup of respiratory equipment.
• Provide follow-up care in the home setting as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
