Job summary

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care to patients in the home setting. The therapist will set up respiratory equipment after physician orders and manage ventilator care as needed.

The role involves delivering and installing non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs, training patients on use and safety, and following up with patients in their homes. A valid RRT or CRT license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RRT or CRT License.
• Clean driving record.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Must be 21 years or older to be covered on company auto insurance and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment including non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in hospital and home settings.
• Completes delivery and pickup paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Provides patients with instruction on the proper use, maintenance and safety of their medical equipment.
• Performing follow up calls with patients after respiratory equipment is set up.
• Providing follow up care in the home setting as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
