Job summary

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to perform in-home visits, assess and treat patients with respiratory conditions, and develop care plans in coordination with physicians.

You will administer therapies such as oxygen, nebulizers, CPAP/BiPAP, educate families, maintain records, and respond to emergencies while ensuring safety and comfort in the patient's home.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid RT license (RRT or CRT) and BLS certification.
• Experience in home healthcare or clinical respiratory therapy preferred.
• Knowledge of respiratory diseases, treatments and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home visits to assess and monitor patients with respiratory conditions.
• Administer prescribed respiratory treatments and therapies (oxygen, nebulizers, CPAP/BiPAP).
• Educate patients and families on proper respiratory care and equipment usage.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with physicians and other providers.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation per regulations.
• Provide emergency respiratory care as necessary.
• Ensure patient safety and proper use of respiratory equipment.
