Qualifications

• Excellent human relations interfacing with doctors, referrals, and patients
• Computer literate
• Clinician authorized within scope of practice per state law or national board
• State-licensed clinicians (RN, LPN, LVN, paramedics, EMTs) may qualify

Responsibilities

• Provides patient education as part of patient care activities, often in patients' homes
• Performs complete and professional patient assessments per Lincare policies
• Maintains knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and related concepts
• Follows Safety & Regulatory Manual policies (OSHA, DOT, FDA, Emergency Planning)
• Represents Lincare with professional appearance and patient care documentation
• Facilitates prescription collection and maintains patient records
• Works on-call evenings and weekends as scheduled
