Job summary

Lincare seeks a skilled Equipment Setup Specialist to perform timely setups of ventilators, monitors, CPAP units, and other oxygen equipment in patients' homes. You will provide technical assistance and ensure safe, professional service while following all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include patient education, comprehensive assessments, maintaining records, and participating in on-call rotations. A valid driver's license and state-appropriate credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in home healthcare settings preferred.
• Two or more years in home healthcare required.
• Three years in home healthcare; may train other staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient education as part of patient care according to patient need and Lincare policy.
• Performs complete and professional patient assessments per Lincare policies.
• Maintains current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and concepts.
• Follows Safety & Regulatory Manual, OSHA/DOT/FDA guidelines and emergency planning.
• Represents Lincare with professional appearance and in reports.
• Facilitates prescription collection.
• Maintains patient records in a complete, organized manner per accreditation standards.
• Works on-call evenings and weekends as scheduled, with frequency based on center size and staffing.
