Job description

This is not a typical project management role.

At Future Remodeling, Project Leaders do not just coordinate jobs, they own the outcome.

Every project you lead reflects the company’s standards, the homeowner’s experience, the crew’s performance, and the company’s profitability. You are accountable for service, speed, quality, and financial outcome.

This role is not for someone looking for a purely administrative seat, limited field responsibility, or low-accountability work.

It is for someone motivated by ownership, field leadership, problem-solving, pride in execution, and growth with a scaling company.

WHO THRIVES HERE

Project Leaders who thrive here:

  • take responsibility instead of making excuses
  • communicate clearly and directly
  • catch details others miss
  • follow through consistently
  • support crews and teammates
  • look for ways to improve, not just complete tasks
  • want to grow into bigger leadership opportunities over time

If you are not naturally wired for ownership, accountability, and high standards, this role will not be the right fit.

We are building a team of people who lead by example, care deeply about quality and customer experience, and want to grow with the company.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Project Leader, you own assigned projects from handoff through completion and final collection.

You are the primary point of contact for homeowners, crews, and internal teams, and you are responsible for delivering projects:

  • on time
  • on budget
  • to company standards
  • with a controlled, professional customer experience

You are accountable for three core outcomes on every job:

Service — customer experience, communication, and installation quality

Speed — cycle time from sale to start to completion to final payment

Profitability — cost awareness, margin protection, and early escalation of risk

High performers who prove themselves early will have opportunities to grow into senior leadership roles as the company scales.

ROLE PURPOSE & ACCOUNTABILITY

The Project Leader owns all job-level outcomes and ensures each project is delivered according to the signed agreement, approved scope, company standards, manufacturer requirements, and applicable codes.

Success in this role is measured by:

  • project readiness and execution discipline
  • installation quality
  • schedule adherence and cycle time
  • customer experience
  • change order and add-on execution
  • final payment collection and clean close-out
WHAT YOU’LL DO

Project Readiness

  • Complete pre-installation walkthroughs
  • Verify scope, measurements, and contract details
  • Confirm permits, materials, crews, and schedules
  • Resolve or escape readiness issues before job start

Execution & Oversight

  • Manage multiple active projects simultaneously
  • Perform site visits and quality inspections
  • Ensure work meets company and manufacturer standards
  • Identify and resolve field issues quickly

Customer Experience

  • Serve as the primary homeowner contact
  • Provide proactive updates throughout the project
  • Set and manage expectations around scope and schedule
  • Handle escalations professionally

Financial & Change Order Execution

  • Identify and execute approved add-ons and change orders
  • Ensure all changes are scoped, priced, and documented
  • Protect margins and elevate risks early

Documentation & Close-Out

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, photos, and notes
  • Ensure punch lists are completed
  • Collect final payment in full
  • Close projects with no unresolved issues
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

This is a performance-driven, outcome-based role.

Project Leaders are evaluated on:

  • project readiness and scheduling discipline
  • installation quality and defect-free close-outs
  • documentation accuracy and completeness
  • customer experience and feedback
  • change order and add-on execution
  • percentage of projects collected in full
  • overall cycle time from sale to completion

Speed — Cycle time from sale to start to completion to final payment.

Profitability — Cost awareness, margin protection, and early escalation of risks.

High performers who prove themselves early will have opportunities to grow into senior leadership roles as the company scales.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of project leadership, project management, or comparable field-operations experience in construction
  • Residential exterior experience strongly preferred (roofing, siding, windows, gutters, or similar)
  • Must be capable of leading jobs in the field, making real-time decisions, and owning the outcome from start to finish
  • Strong communicator who can manage homeowners, crews, and internal handoffs with clarity and professionalism
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through, attention to detail, and CRM/documentation discipline
  • Able to manage multiple active jobs at once without losing control of schedule, quality, or customer experience
  • Comfortable addressing problems directly, holding people accountable, and escalating risk early
  • Must be comfortable in the field, on job sites, and in fast-moving environments where conditions change quickly
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
  • Must be comfortable in a high-accountability environment where performance, ownership, and standards matter
Benefits

Competitive salary + performance incentives + upside tied to results

  • Performance-based bonuses and incentives
