Job summary

Orkin in Cincinnati seeks motivated individuals with hands-on construction, roofing, or home improvement experience to join a recession-resistant, growth-focused team. No prior pest control experience is required as a paid training program will teach you everything you need to know to succeed.

You will inspect and install pest and home protection systems, complete attic and crawlspace services (including encapsulation and insulation), and perform light carpentry while communicating clearly with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Ability to obtain state pesticide license within 90 days (company-paid).
• Lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work safely in attics or crawlspaces.
• Must wear PPE, including an OSHA-compliant respirator, as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation.
• Light carpentry work.
• Communicate clearly with customers.
• Maintain company equipment and complete reports via handheld device.
