Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in product design or related field.
• Strong engineering fundamentals.
• Experience developing parts and assemblies in 3-D CAD.
• Knowledge of manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA).
• Experience with FEA concepts and modeling.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-changing environment.
• Ability to travel internationally up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with disciplines including commercial design, operations, and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Brainstorm solutions and design concepts for complex engineering problems.
• Prototype, test, and troubleshoot new designs.
• Lead design critiques and contribute to product design discussions.
• Present designs to cross-team stakeholders and executives.
• Generate specifications and technical drawings.
• Communicate with manufacturing and external suppliers to optimize designs.
• Conduct failure analysis and DOE to determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Validate and iterate designs through multiple cycles.
• Translate concepts into manufacturable parts and assemblies.
• Ensure designs meet cosmetic and functional requirements.
