Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong CAD skills and familiarity with manufacturing processes.
• Experience with design of experiments and failure evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Develop testing techniques in the Characterization and Advanced Prototyping team to gather data about design solutions and define performance metrics and requirements for reliable products for the customer.
• Collaborate with engineers in various disciplines across the corporation to invent new product forms and capabilities.
• Prototyping new product concepts using 3‑D modeling, fabrication, and assembly.
• Design parts, test rigs, and conduct tests to demonstrate various design alternatives.
• Retrofitting products with new features and technology to assess overall performance and reliability.
• Gather, analyze, and provide data to inform key design decisions.
