Apple seeks a highly capable mechanical engineer to join the Home item configuration team. You will contribute to the mechanical design of Apple's home devices, collaborating with Industrial Design, Electrical, Thermal, Packaging, and Operations to deliver innovative products.

The role requires at least 7 years in product design, strong 3D CAD skills, and experience with plastic and metal parts from concept through manufacturing. Domestic and international travel up to 20% may be necessary.

• 7+ years of experience in product design.
• Experience creating parts and assemblies in 3D CAD.
• Experience with plastic and metal part design.
• Experience with design process from concept to manufacturing.
• Willingness to travel worldwide up to 20%.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to the mechanical design of Apple's home products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Industrial Design, Equipment, Electrical, Thermal, Packaging, and Operations.
• Lead design reviews and ensure manufacturability.
