Centier Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to solicit referrals, interview applicants, and process loan documentation while upholding bank policies and regulatory requirements.

The role focuses on building relationships with realtors and clients, guiding them through the loan process, and meeting monthly production goals. A business degree and lending experience are preferred, with standard weekday hours and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business related field.
• 3 years commissioned lending experience.
• Flexible schedule to meet client needs (Mon-Fri 8:00-5:00).

Responsibilities

• Solicit mortgage loan referrals from realtors, builders, and other parties and cross-sell services.
• Interview loan applicants, document income, debt, credit history and employment; review tax returns, purchase agreements, etc.
• Determine applicant eligibility and request additional information as needed.
• Explain costs and closing fees to applicants.
• Submit applications with supporting documents to loan processing.
• Call applicants to resolve discrepancies and inform on loan decisions.
• Attend closings and ensure compliance with bank and government regulations.
• Represent the bank in community activities to build client relationships.
• Engage in personal development activities to grow in career.
