Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients' homes and clinics. You will educate patients and caregivers, conduct assessments, and ensure safety and independence.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and preferred field-based or healthcare experience. Compensation reflects experience with field visits and on-call coverage in a region around Mukilteo, WA.

Qualifications

• Customer service, field-based delivery, or healthcare experience preferred.
• One year of healthcare technician, military service, delivery/field service with customer service interaction or related experience preferred.
• Senior level requires two years of relevant experience, including one year in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of HME products, services, and applicable regulations.
• Perform patient assessments and re-assessments to support ongoing care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on the safe use and troubleshooting of respiratory and HME equipment.
• Respond to patient equipment issues in emergencies when required.
• Deliver, set up, and maintain equipment in accordance with company policies.
