AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment at patients’ homes, clinics, or other settings. You will educate patients and caregivers, perform assessments, and ensure equipment safety and proper operation.

The role emphasizes field visits, on-call rotation, and adherence to HIPAA and safety standards. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required, with comprehensive benefits and a total rewards

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service, field-based, delivery, or healthcare experience preferred.
• 1 year of healthcare technician or related experience preferred; two years for senior level.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
• Background checks and motor vehicle record checks are required for driving roles.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver, set up, and maintain respiratory and home medical equipment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Perform patient assessments and ongoing re-assessments to support care continuity.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance and simple repairs.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely to support reimbursement and patient care.
