Job summary

Avera is seeking a Home Medical Equipment Technician II to deliver, set up, and maintain medical devices such as hospital beds, wheelchairs, and oxygen concentrators at patients' homes or facilities.

You will educate patients and caregivers on safe operation, perform routine checks, and maintain accurate delivery records. On-call availability may be required, and physical lifting is common in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Driver's license required upon hire.
• Experience with Medical Equipment preferred.
• 1-3 years of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install medical devices to patients' homes or facilities.
• Set up equipment safely and demonstrate operation to patients and caregivers.
• Perform routine cleaning, safety checks, and documentation of deliveries.
• Process transactions and update customer registrations and orders.
• Understand reimbursement guidelines and obtain necessary signatures.
