Job summary

Avera Home Medical Equipment is seeking an HME Technician II to deliver, set up, and maintain medical devices such as hospital beds, wheelchairs, and oxygen concentrators to patients’ homes, facilities, or other living spaces. You will educate patients and caregivers on safe operation, perform safety checks, and complete delivery documentation.

The role requires physical lifting, independent work, and optional on-call shifts, with a competitive pay range and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license upon hire.
• Experience with medical equipment preferred.
• Able to lift and transport equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, assemble, and maintain medical devices at patient homes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe equipment use.
• Complete delivery documentation per policy.
• Perform routine maintenance and on-call duties as needed.
