The role involves testing with proprietary equipment, troubleshooting, sterilization, and maintaining records in a safe, organized workspace. Ideal candidates will perform preventive maintenance and determine proper disposition of returned devices, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Repairs and recertifies home ventilators, concentrators, and other respiratory equipment per manufacturer guidelines.
• Executes testing procedures using proprietary test equipment; ensures compliance with codes and instructions; troubleshoots and sterilizes equipment for patient use.
• Performs preventive maintenance and required function testing.
• Triages returned devices and determines proper disposition.
• Maintains a safe and organized production/test area.
• Documents and maintains records of all repair and function testing.

The Home Medical Equipment Tech triages rental home respiratory equipment and performs required repairs, calibration, and recertification in accordance with manufacturer specifications and Lincare guidelines.

Job Responsibilities

• Repairs and recertifies of home Ventilator, Concentrators, and other Respiratory equipment per manufacturer guidelines
• Executes testing procedures utilizing proprietary test equipment, ensures compliance to codes/manufacturer's instructions, troubleshoots, and sterilizes equipment for patient use.
• Performs preventive maintenance and manufacturer required function testing
• Triages returned devices and determines proper disposition
• Maintains a safe and organized production/test area
• Documents and maintains records all for all repair and function test of equipment
