Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Patient Service Technician to deliver and pick up homecare equipment, set up devices, and assist patients with operation and troubleshooting. The role emphasizes safe driving, regulatory compliance, and accurate documentation, with on-call delivery responsibilities across territories.

The position requires a high school diploma, 1+ year related experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
• At least one-year related work experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older at the time of hire.
• Minimum of three years driving history required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and picks up equipment from homecare patients.
• Sets up equipment and instructs patients on the basic use of equipment.
• Assists patients in solving problems regarding equipment use.
• Schedules and organizes daily deliveries and pickups according to geographic territory.
• Loads and unloads durable medical or infusion equipment, oxygen and medical supplies onto delivery vehicle.
• Complies with regulatory requirements including driver qualification files and hours of service and maintenance regulations.
• Completes necessary paperwork including delivery logs and forms.
• Notifies supervisor of unsafe home environments or abuse.
• Maintains daily vehicle maintenance logs and ensures vehicles are in good working condition.
