Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Patient Service Technician – Local Delivery Driver to deliver and set up respiratory and home medical equipment in patients' homes. You will educate patients and caregivers on safe use, perform basic troubleshooting, and document visits.

The role emphasizes local routes, daily home delivery, and compliance with safety standards. Candidates should be prepared for on-call duties and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Combination of education, training, and relevant work experience as needed for essential functions.
• Education requirements may be dictated by federal, state, or local law or customer contracts.
• Preferred experience with medical equipment and terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive local routes to deliver and set up medical equipment in patients’ homes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and maintenance of respiratory equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper function and patient safety.
• Complete delivery documentation and patient visit reports on time.
• Keep the company vehicle clean, safe, and ready for service.
• Respond to urgent equipment needs and participate in on-call rotations.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
