AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients' homes, clinics, and other sites as needed. You will educate patients and caregivers to ensure safety and independence, while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and safety standards.

The role emphasizes field-based visits, device maintenance, and timely documentation, with opportunities for growth within a nationwide home medical equipment provider.

Qualifikationen

• Customer service and patient-facing experience preferred.
• Field-based delivery or healthcare-related work is advantageous.
• Experience with on-call rotations and flexible scheduling is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain knowledge of HME products, services, and regulations.
• Perform patient assessments and re-assessments for ongoing care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and care of respiratory equipment.
• Respond to equipment issues under emergency conditions when required.
• Deliver, set up, retrieve, and maintain equipment per safety standards.
• Complete documentation to support patient care and reimbursement.
• Promote company services to referral sources as appropriate.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and on-call rotation.
