Job summary

Hoagland Pharmacy in Washington state seeks a Delivery Driver to safely deliver and demonstrate medical equipment and supplies to home care customers, while ensuring high-quality patient care.

You will load, secure, and operate company vehicles, coordinate deliveries, and educate customers on equipment use, with flexibility to work across a wide daily window and complete required administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Clean state criminal background and federal sex offender check.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass driving skill test.
• Fully vaccinated for COVID, or willing to become vaccinated.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work between 9am and 10pm.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives and maintains company vehicles.
• Available for scheduled work hours between 9am and 10pm daily.
• Securely loads and stages delivery vehicles.
• Functionally checks and selects ordered medical equipment and supplies.
• Prioritizes and coordinates deliveries, pick-ups, and service calls in an efficient manner.
• Educates home care customers and other end users on medical equipment and supply use by covering key operating features and performing demonstrations.
• Interacts with patients and customers that may be of various ages.
• Performs assessments and reassessments of each customer’s care or service needs.
• Documents the customer’s response to care or services provided, the actions and interventions taken, and the outcomes of the care or services provided.
• Completes plans of care as appropriate to the level of care provided.
• Collects accurate patient information to support care, service and treatment operations, which includes demographic, billing, and medical information.
• Refers service complaints and compliments to appropriate personnel.
• Communicates with company’s customers that may be of various ages.
• Participates in Improvement of Operational Performance (IOP) activities.
• Participates in traditional and e-learning programs.
• Works effectively with other company employees, managers, and departments.
• Performs all job functions with Company Mission, Vision, and Goal Statements in mind.
