AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to support patients in home and clinic settings. You will deliver, set up, and educate on respiratory and home medical equipment, ensuring safety and independence.

The role is primarily field-based with daily patient visits and on-call rotations in the assigned area around operation. Qualifications include a high school diploma and healthcare service experience; licensure or certifications may apply depending on location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service, field-based, delivery, or healthcare experience preferred.
• 1 year of healthcare technician or related experience preferred; 2 years for senior level.

Responsabilités

• Develop knowledge of home medical equipment (HME) products and applicable regulations.
• Assist patients with delivery, setup, and education on equipment use and safety.
• perform patient assessments and follow-ups to support ongoing care.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and clean equipment per policies and safety standards.
• Document orders and care activities accurately for reimbursement and records.
• Adhere to HIPAA, infection control and on-call rotation requirements.
