Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients' homes and clinics. You will educate patients and caregivers, ensure safety, and support ongoing care.

Primarily field-based in the Colorado Springs area, you will visit daily, perform maintenance, and document activities while complying with HIPAA and company policies. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required, with opportunities for

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of healthcare technician, military service, delivery/field service with customer service interaction or related experience preferred.
• Senior level requires two years of relevant experience, including one year in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of HME products, services, and applicable regulations.
• Perform patient assessments and reassessments to support ongoing care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use, care, and troubleshooting of respiratory and HME equipment.
• Deliver, set up, retrieve, clean, and maintain equipment in accordance with company policies.
