Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients' homes or clinics. You will educate patients and caregivers to ensure safe, comfortable, and independent use of equipment.

Responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of HME products, performing assessments, handling orders, and supporting reimbursement. A valid driver's license and a willingness to be on-call are needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service, field-based, delivery, or healthcare experience preferred.
• One year of healthcare technician, military service, delivery/field service with customer service interaction or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of HME products, services, and applicable regulations.
• Perform patient assessments and re-assessments to support ongoing care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and troubleshooting of respiratory and HME equipment.
• Deliver, set up, retrieve, and maintain equipment in compliance with policies and safety standards.
• Process orders and complete documentation accurately to support patient care and reimbursement.
• Promote company services and products to referral sources as appropriate.
