Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver in Spartanburg, SC to ensure safe and timely delivery of home medical equipment, perform equipment setup, and educate patients on proper use.

You will follow routes, maintain vehicle, participate in on-call rotation, and uphold FDA/DOT compliance; prior driving experience and a valid license required; physical requirements up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Required
• Minimum one year of experience in a professional driving role; Required
• Home care/health care background is a plus
• Must lift 50+ pounds by oneself; Physical capability required
• Must lift up to 15 lbs above the shoulder during loading/unloading
• Valid Driver's License required; Meets all physical requirements related to DOT and FMCSA regulations

Responsibilities

• Follow complete patient orientation checklists during delivery and training
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
• Inspect and maintain company-provided delivery vehicle, ensuring safety during loading/unloading
• Establish and maintain outstanding relations with patients and internal team members
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse, adhering to FDA protocols
• Work on-call rotation during evening and weekend hours to address patient medical emergencies
