Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe and timely delivery of home medical equipment, provide equipment setup, and educate patients on proper usage. The role requires driving responsibilities, patient interaction, and adherence to FDA and DOT protocols.

Minimum one year of driving experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license are required. Home care background is a plus, with on-call evening/weekend shifts and FDA compliance emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be good with people, with excellent speaking and writing.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Read and understand DOT and FDA required paperwork.
• Must lift up to 50+ pounds and operate vehicle safely.

Responsibilities

• Follow complete patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle and ensure safety during loading/unloading.
• Establish and maintain outstanding relations with patients and internal team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse, adhering to FDA protocols.
• Work on-call rotation during evening and weekend hours for patient emergencies.
