Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team and ensure safe, timely delivery of home medical equipment to patients. You will provide equipment setup and educate patients on proper use, while following patient orientation checklists and maintaining routes and schedules.

You will interact with patients and staff to foster strong relationships, maintain vehicle safety, and comply with FDA and DOT requirements. Evening and weekend on-call rotations may apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of driving experience required.
• Home care/health care background a plus.
• Must lift 50+ pounds; ability to lift with assistance on heavy loads.

Responsibilities

• Follow patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Abide by transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle for safety during loading/unloading.
• Establish and maintain relations with patients and internal team members.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and warehouse, adhering to FDA protocols.
• Work on-call rotation during evenings and weekends for patient emergencies.
