Job summary

Lincare Holdings Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe and timely delivery of home medical equipment to patients. The role includes equipment setup, patient education on proper use, and maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities include following orientation checklists, adhering to routes, and participating in on-call rotations during evenings and weekends, with a focus on patient care and compliance with DOT/FDA requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to interact well with patients and internal staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with basic computer use for notes and scheduling.
• Ability to read and understand DOT and FDA paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Follow patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Maintain safe driving record and comply with transportation laws.
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle and assist with loading/unloading.
• Build positive relations with patients and team members.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and warehouse per FDA protocols.
• Participate in on-call rotations for evenings and weekends.
