Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team, ensuring safe and timely delivery of home medical equipment to patients, with equipment setup and patient education on proper use.

In this role you will follow patient orientation checklists, adhere to routes, inspect vehicles, and participate in on-call rotations to respond to emergencies while maintaining FDA/DOT compliance. A high school diploma and at least one year of driving experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service skills.
• Excellent spoken and written communication.
• Valid driver’s license and DOT/FMCSA compliance knowledge.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds and handle physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow complete patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle, ensuring safety during loading/unloading.
• Establish and maintain outstanding relations with patients and team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse, adhering to FDA protocols.
• Work on-call rotation during evenings and weekends to address patient emergencies.
