Job summary

HouseMaster Greater Phoenix is seeking detail-oriented home inspectors to join a small, growing team. You will conduct thorough inspections, evaluate essential home systems, and produce detailed reports while following our standard processes.

The role emphasizes independence, punctuality, and professionalism. You’ll work with modern inspection software and report-writing tools, with a flexible schedule and supportive field resources.

Qualifications

  • Active Home Inspector License with Arizona Board of Technical Registration.
  • Experience with HomeGauge and ISN platforms.
  • Termite, Radon & Mold inspections certified or trained (not required at hire).
  • Degree or experience in construction or engineering (optional).
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect residential home systems and elements in various conditions.
  • Document findings and prepare thorough, accurate reports.
  • Stay current on inspection standards and home building science.
  • Follow company processes and work independently with punctuality.
  • Communicate findings clearly to clients and team.

Position Summary

The new HouseMaster Greater Phoenix! Locally owned and operated by an inspector (no private equity firms). We are a small but mighty growing franchise seeking individuals to join a team of professional home inspectors. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, articulate, outgoing, personable, presentable, and follows our standard process to complete an accurate, thorough quality home inspection of essential elements and a detailed report.

Role And Responsibilities
  • Basic knowledge of residential home systems and elements.
  • Work in various weather conditions, climb ladders, walk on roofs, access crawl spaces and attics, and stand for long periods.
  • Solid computer technology skills necessary for report writing and communications.
  • Stay current on company initiatives, policies, and procedures, continually develop advanced technical knowledge in inspection standards and home building science.
  • Show punctuality, ability to work independently, and strong work ethic.
Qualifications And Requirements
  • Active Home Inspector License with Arizona Board of Technical Registration.
  • Capacity to use the latest inspection software, technology and techniques (HomeGauge, ISN).
  • Certified or trained to perform Termite, Radon & Mold Inspections (plus but not required at hire).
  • Degree or experience in construction or engineering (plus but not required).
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record, personal auto insurance.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
  • Physical fitness for climbing ladders, walking on roofs, accessing crawl spaces and attics, standing for long periods.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • May be required to enter homes that contain allergens such as pets, dust, mold, or potential carcinogens.

Compensation

$500.00 - $2,500.00 per week.
