Job summary

Concordia Visiting Nurses is seeking an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized infusion therapy in patients' homes and to build meaningful relationships that promote positive outcomes. You will work with a collaborative clinical team while maintaining autonomy over your schedule and patient care decisions.

Ideal candidates have infusion experience, strong IV access skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional one-on-one care.

Qualifications

• Infusion nursing experience preferred.
• Strong IV insertion and vascular access skills.
• Excellent nursing assessment, critical thinking and communication abilities.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV medications, hydration, antibiotics, and specialty infusion therapies.
• Assess patients before, during, and after infusions for safety and effectiveness.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and provide necessary interventions.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document care accurately.
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapies, medications, and disease management.
• Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Maintain compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
