Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking an Infusion Nurse II to coordinate and provide intermediate nursing care in the home or infusion suite, under a physician’s plan. You will work under structured supervision to ensure patient safety and continuity of care, with a focus on documentation, education, and collaboration with the clinical team.

The role requires an active RN license, CPR certification, and a minimum of 1 year nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Infusion nursing experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle for business travel.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plan of care treatments, evaluating patient progress towards goals.
• Assesses patient needs and physical status at each skilled visit; updates plan per physician orders.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I’s as needed.
• Provides patient-centered teaching to achieve independence with prescribed therapy.
• Communicates with the clinical team to ensure continuity of care and documents care in real time.
