Job summary

Magenta Care LLC is seeking a dedicated home infusion RN to provide direct patient care in Ann Arbor, MI, with travel to nearby areas up to two hours away. You will work with physicians and the care team to develop and implement individualized plans that respect patient dignity and safety.

Qualifications: MI RN license, 1+ year infusion/ER/ICU, IV skills, CPR/BLS, and a valid Michigan driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Valid MI Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience (Infusion, ER, ICU).
• Excellent IV insertion skills.
• Healthcare provider CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Michigan Driver's license with proof of insurability.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, practicing within the scope of the registered nurse practice act.
• Continuously assess, use nursing diagnosis, implement, plan, and evaluate patient care, actively involving patients and their families in the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop a comprehensive plan of care that addresses the unique needs of each patient and their family.
• Facilitate patient start of care through the admission process.
• Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights, preferences, and safety are upheld.
• Document and effectively communicate any changes in the patient's condition promptly to team members, the Director of Clinical Services, and the physician.
• Provide nursing care to home health patients, adhering to established standards of care and following agency policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy management, potential side effects, and self-care practices.
