Option Care Health, Inc. in Chantilly, VA seeks an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to support licensed pharmacists in daily operations.

You will process prescriptions, prepare medications, assist with inventory management, and ensure accurate patient data collection and service delivery in a compliant home infusion setting. Responsibilities include stocking, labeling, and training junior staff; maintaining cleanliness of work areas and laminar hood zones, and assisting with patient inquiries.

Formación

• Customer service experience with internal and external stakeholders
• Able to perform basic and intermediate mathematical calculations
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsabilidades

• Process prescription refills for drugs, PN/high risk, heparin/saline
• Process new drug prescriptions and counts/pours/mixes pharmaceuticals
• Package products and label containers; provide training to Pharmacy Technician I
• Maintain inventory levels; validate receipt and removal of expired items; schedule deliveries
• Collect and maintain patient data for assessments; respond to non-routine patient questions and requests
• Clean and sanitize surfaces and laminar hood flows; organize supplies
