Option Care Health in Greenville, SC is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support licensed pharmacists in day-to-day operations, ensuring accurate dispensing and adherence to policies.

You will process prescriptions, collect patient information, manage inventory, and help maintain a clean, compliant site while delivering a positive patient experience. State licensure within 6 months and OCH training completion are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0 to 6 months of relevant experience preferred.
• Licensure/registration within 6 months if required by state.
• Enrollment and completion of OCH training within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Review/validate basic prescription refill requests and process per policies.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Maintain equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning and reporting defects.
• Collect and maintain basic patient information for planning of materials, equipment, and prescriptions.
• Answer basic patient questions to support a positive experience.
• Receive and verify quantities of incoming supplies; stock and organize.”
• Review expiration dates and identify shortages; pick and pack materials; create tickets.
• Track inventory through data entry into systems; schedule routine patient deliveries.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces and laminar hood flows; organize supplies.
