Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Assistant to support smooth pharmacy processes and inventory in a patient-centered environment. You will assist with prescription processing, equipment maintenance, and basic patient communications.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, up to 6 months of related experience, and completion of required training within 6 months of hire. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and readiness to complete required training.
• 0 to 6 months of relevant experience encouraged.
• Licensed or registered within 6 months if state requires.
• Enrollment in required training within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Review and process basic prescription drug refill requests per policies.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Maintain equipment through calibration and cleaning; report defects.
• Collect basic patient information for planning materials and prescriptions.
• Support patient experience by answering questions and requests.
• Receive and verify quantities; stock and track inventory.
• Schedule routine patient deliveries and maintain clean sites.
