Job summary

Amerita in Anchorage, AK seeks a Registered Nurse to provide in-home infusion therapy to complex patients. You will administer IV meds, monitor care, and coordinate with the care team to meet treatment goals.

The role requires an active RN license, at least 1 year of experience, and CPR certification. Flexible schedule, travel to patient homes, and comprehensive benefits are offered for full-time and part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Valid nursing license in state(s) of practice.
• Minimum of one year of experience as an RN.
• Infusion and home health care experience preferred.
• Extensive IV therapy experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work various shifts.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance; travel required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses all patients and implements the Plan of Care.
• Adheres to infusion nursing and home health policies and regulations.
• Complies with standards of practice and ethics.
• Collaborates with pharmacy staff, providers, and patients to manage therapies.
• Documents care in the home or AIS.
• Manages vascular access devices and draws labs as needed.
• Educates patients and caregivers.
• Coordinates with agencies and participates in on-call rotation.
• Complete expense reports and mandatory trainings.
