Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking an Infusion Nurse II to coordinate and provide intermediate direct patient care in the home or alternate infusion suite. You will operate under supervision to ensure patient safety and adherence to a physician plan of care.

The role requires active RN licensure, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of nursing experience, with BSN preferred. Travel to patient homes is expected; strong documentation and collaboration are essential.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and manage intermediate nursing plans of care in home or infusion suites.
• Assess patient status during each visit and adjust care per physician orders.
• Train and mentor Infusion Nurse I staff as needed for safety and compliance.
• Provide patient and family education to promote independence with prescribed therapy.
• Document clinical notes in real time and ensure timely billing documentation.
