Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking an Infusion Nurse II to coordinate and deliver intermediate nursing care in patients’ homes or alternate infusion suites. You will implement plans of care, educate patients and families, and ensure timely documentation for billing and compliance.

The role requires an active RN license, CPR certification, and strong computer skills, with travel up to 100% for patient visits. Supervisory duties may be assigned in the absence of a supervisor.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Basic knowledge of computer operating systems and software applications.

Responsibilities

• Provides intermediate direct patient care in home or infusion suite.
• Institutes and monitors nursing plan of care and updates physician as needed.
• Documents care in real time and coordinates with clinical team for continuity of care.
• Supervises paraprofessionals and may act as Supervisor in absence of Nurse Manager.
• Travels to patient homes (up to 100%) to deliver services and ensure safety and compliance.
