PromptCare in Broward County, Florida is seeking an experienced Registered Home Infusion Nurse to provide in-home infusion therapy and patient education. You will assess and plan patient care, administer IV medications, and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role requires active RN licensure in Florida, strong IV skills, and the ability to work on-call. Travel and documentation are key responsibilities in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse in the state of employment and in good standing.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Professional Liability Insurance and CPR Certification are required.
• Experience with PIV, Mid-Line, PICC Line and ports is essential.
• Minimum 2 years’ home infusion nursing experience; ED experience preferred.
• CRNI certification and heart failure training are highly desirable.
• Strong pediatric IV skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts initial nursing assessments for home infusion therapy.
• Trains patients and caregivers on procedures and equipment.
• Develops and revises care plans with the healthcare team.
• Visits patients, documents compliance, and provides direct care.
• Assumes on-call duties and manages patient supplies.
• Coordinates care with other agencies and counsels patients on therapy.
• Collaborates with Pharmacists for therapy adjustments.
• Plans efficient daily routes and submits nursing notes promptly.
• Triages field problems and adheres to SOPs and regulations.
• Delivers high-quality service, including after-hours support.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
