Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Specialist to be among the first customer contacts, helping shoppers find products and transform project ideas into reality. You will become a product expert, explaining specs, features, and financing options to close sales while delivering exceptional customer service.

You may work in departments like Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, or Windows & Walls, with opportunities for career growth and training through Lowe's programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer-facing sales or Lowe's retail environment preferred.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and promoting Lowe's products.
• Serve as the point of contact for customers and vendors, manage orders and installs, and follow up on projects.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors to restock merchandise.
• Assist in pricing reviews and maintain pricing and documentation.
• Support checkout, store pages, and assist requests.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
