Job summary

Lowe's Stores is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand their home improvement needs, and guide them to the right products. You will become the product expert, explain features, promotions, and financing options to help close sales in departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, and more.

Responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, handling orders, coordinating estimator visits, training teammates, and supporting store operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience (or equivalent external experience).
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic; capable of standing and sitting for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating advantages of products and services.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, estimate projects, schedule installer visits, and track orders.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to restock merchandise.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing and documentation.
• Support checkout functions and provide assistance as needed.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
