Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Sales Specialist in the United States. You’ll be the first contact for customers, helping them identify the right home improvement products and guiding them from idea to purchase.

You’ll stay active in the store, answer questions, and build product knowledge to close sales. This role offers flexible schedules, including part-time opportunities, bonus potential, health plans, a company 401(k) match, and a 10% associate discount.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales experience or Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail if education requirement is not met).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience in a sales environment with goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and explaining Lowe’s products and services.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, providing estimates, scheduling installs, processing orders, and following up for completion.
• In the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with vendors/stores to find merchandise and replacements.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and in-store communications.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach on development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
