Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Sales Specialist to be one of the first faces customers meet. You’ll help shoppers find products, discuss project needs, and turn great ideas into reality in a fast-paced retail environment.

You’ll become the product expert, communicating specifications, promotions, and financing options to close sales, and you’ll support department teams by handling inquiries, orders, and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales).
• Able to read, write and perform basic arithmetic; able to stand/sit for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and explaining Lowe’s advantages.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors within your department; manage orders/installations and follow up.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors to restock merchandise.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and support pricing/documentation.
